I. Transportation Arrangements
The entire trip will be conducted in 7-26 seater standard tourist vehicles. If there are fewer than 4 people in Lhasa, the travel agency will cover the cost of arranging taxis for the tour guide.
1. This is a group tour for individual travelers; vehicles and guides may be changed en route. Your understanding is appreciated.
2. Due to limited facilities in Tibet, tourist vehicles are generally older than those in inland areas. Furthermore, many vehicles lack air conditioning or do not operate it due to the high altitude. Please be aware of potential power limitations and discomfort for travelers.
3. Speed limits are enforced on Tibetan roads. Stops and rest stops will be made as required by regulations during the trip; this is part of the normal itinerary.
4. As this is a group tour, short waiting times may occur due to picking up other tourists along the way. Please be punctual. No refunds will be given for voluntary cancellations.
5. Luggage Limits: Each person is limited to one 26-inch suitcase and one carry-on backpack. Excess luggage must be stored at the Lhasa hotel as instructed by the guide to avoid affecting vehicle power and passenger comfort.
II. Accommodation Arrangements
Standard double rooms will be provided throughout the trip. Double rooms are not guaranteed. Travelers not occupying a bed will not be entitled to breakfast.
1. When there are single men or women in the group, the travel agency can arrange triple rooms or shared rooms, or the tourist can pay the single room supplement.
2. Group tours are conducted at fixed partner hotels; specific accommodation requests from tourists cannot be accepted.
III. Meal Arrangements Breakfast is included at the hotel throughout the tour. Three complimentary specialty meals are provided (no refunds for missed meals): Linzhi Stone Pot Chicken, Lhasa Specialty Meal, and Hot Pot at the Yamdrok Lake View Restaurant. Other meals are at the tourist's own expense.
1. Meal fees are non-refundable if tourists choose not to eat. Tourists may bring their own food if they do not like the food.
2. The tour guide may adjust the timing of complimentary meals according to the itinerary, but the total number will remain the same.
IV. Tour Guide Service Chinese, English, or bilingual (Chinese and English) tour guide services are provided. Arrangements will be made according to the language spoken by the group members. When multilingual tourists are traveling together, bilingual service will be the default. Tour guides may change during the itinerary, which is normal for group tours.
V. Scenic Spot Tickets
Includes the first entrance tickets to Kadinggou, Lulang Forest Viewing Platform, Basongcuo Lake, Tibetan Cultural Experience, Sera Monastery, Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier, Rongbuk Monastery, Mount Everest (including environmental protection vehicle), and Tashilhunpo Monastery. All listed attractions are guaranteed to be visited.
1. In case of unforeseen circumstances preventing visits to the originally scheduled attractions, alternative arrangements can be negotiated with the tourists.
2. The tour price already includes off-season ticket discounts; no refunds will be given for any price difference. No additional charges or refunds will be provided for policy changes.
3. Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple tickets require real-name reservation; tourists must cooperate with the tour guide's arrangements.
VI. Tibet Entry Procedures
The travel agency will handle all necessary Tibet entry documents, including the Tibet Entry Permit, Travel Permit, and Military Permit. Tibet border permit policies are subject to change; it is recommended that Chinese tourists apply for them in advance at their local Public Security Bureau before departure.
VII. Travel Insurance
Triple protection is provided throughout the trip: travel agency liability insurance, tour bus seat insurance, and travel accident insurance.
VIII. Transfer Service Limited-time free transfer service is provided only for the fixed start and end dates of the itinerary:
1. Lhasa Gonggar Airport: Free pick-up for flights arriving between 08:00 and 22:00; free drop-off for flights departing between 08:30 and 22:30;
2. Lhasa Railway Station: Free pick-up and drop-off;
3. For flights/trains arriving in Tibet early, departing late, or departing outside the free transfer period, separate transfers will be at your own expense;
