The "Liyan Baguo" (Sacrificial Banquet of Ba Kingdom) project centers on "culture + cuisine + art," deeply exploring the historical context of the Ba-Yu region. It integrates intangible cultural heritage elements such as ancient shamanistic culture, Ba Kingdom rituals, and boatmen's chants with modern immersive experiences, creating a "touchable, tastable, and interactive" cultural landmark for Chongqing.
Since its inception, the project has become a top-ranked local specialty dish on Douyin (TikTok) and a trending topic on Weibo, a popular cultural tourism destination.
The entire hall features a 3D holographic panoramic screen, customized Ba-style music and dance, and ancient-style live performances, along with Hanfu makeup and costumes, and intangible cultural heritage handicrafts. The entire dining experience is an immersive performance, turning dining into a live art show.
